Babu strongly warning AP farmers

Hyderabad: One would wonder if Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister is attracting the farmers or really threatening them and causing panic among them.

At a meeting in Guntur, addressing the farmers Babu made some strange remarks. He said that all those farmers who give away their lands to the land pooling for capital construction will be benefited manifold, however, and warned that all those who do not give their lands will suffer.

jagan not agree to bank loan

jagan notlike to chandhrVISAKHAPATNAM: Slamming the Chandrababu Naidu regime for its failure to arrest coastal erosion, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Tuesday urged the state government to use head groin breakwater technology to curb erosion. He said many foreign countries had successfully implemented this technology.

The leader of the opposition in the assembly visited the erosion spot at RK Beach on Tuesday. He alleged that the tech savvy CM has failed to utilize his frequent foreign tours to come up with solutions to the problem.

Speaking to mediapersons, Jagan said that a study by the Andhra University's geo-engineering department had not only revealed the alarming effects of erosion in Visakhapatnam but also exposed the vulnerability of nearly 440 km of the 950-km-odd state coastline. "Around 287 coastal villages will be affected and nearly 13 lakh people displaced if the height of the sea waves goes up by another two feet," he said.

Accusing the state government of just taking temporary measures instead of looking for a permanent solution to the problem, Jagan said, "Whenever erosion occurs, it has become a routine for higher-ups in the TDP government to visit the spot and hand out contracts for dumping rocks at the erosion site to TDP cadres."

"This is not a permanent solution. The government should conduct a study and take the help of the central government as well as experts.sbabu

s For KCR Plans?

February 3rd, 2015, 12:00 PM IST

It is already known that CM KCR has decided to shift the Secretariat to the Erragadda Chest Hospital location where a new Secretariat complex will be constructed at a cost of Rs 150 crore. The reason behind the shift is that the current Secretariat buildings have dangerous vastu defects that would only bring evil and not allow the state to prosper.

But vastu experts who have surveyed Erragadda Chest Hospital have revealed some interesting facts. According to them, the hospital has even greater vastu defects. The current Secretariat has two streets facing Secretariat against vastu but Erragadda Chest hospital has 15 streets directly towards the building against vastu.
